Mingle for RapidFTR
Mingle is the requirements / project management repository used to track all work-items related to the RapidFTR application. Work items include
- Feature components (story cards)
- Defects
- Documentation
- Components needing Analysis and Design
1. Create a Mingle Account (one-time setup)
2. Sign-in using your account [OR] use Guest Account (Ready-Only) (Guest username/password: rapidftr/rapidftr)
3. View the Development Wall (Note: The Automation Wall has items requiring automation by QAs/ Devs
4. Mingle lanes explained - Always pick-up stories for development from the ‘Ready for Dev’ lane in the Development Wall and ‘Ready’ lane in the Automation Wall
5. Begin Contributing : Sign-up for a story / defect / work-item. All work items as referred to as ‘cards’
CHOOSE 1 of the following THREE WAYS Once you do this you will be able to assign a card to yourself and it will be moved from ‘Ready to Dev’ to ‘In Dev’

Option 1
- Defects: Open the defect card that you want to begin working on, then click the ‘Start Fixing Defect’ located at the top under the ‘Edit’, ‘Print’ & ‘Copy To’ buttons.
- Story: Open the story card that you want to begin working on, then click the ‘Start Development’ located at the top under the ‘Edit’, ‘Print’ & ‘Copy To’ buttons.

Option 2
When you are logged-in with your own login ID, drag and drop the card that you are interested in to the ‘In Dev’ lane.

Option 3
Open the card, In the lower section, set ‘Status’ field to “In Dev” from drop-down and enter your name in the ‘Assigned To’ field.
6. Notify the RapidFTR Group of your sign-up: Only email-subject needed. No email body.
In Subject Line type: [Signup #StoryCardNumber] Story-Card-Title
Eg: [Signup #1821] Add System Log & CPIMS Audit Trail
where 1821 is the StoryCardNumber & “Add System Log & CPIMS Audit Trail” is the Story-Card-Title
7. Very Important !! When your development effort is Complete , raise a Pull Request and move the card to the ‘Ready for Merge’ Lane
