Feature Request

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

In order to allow the Docker images for the Operator Ansible to be upgraded to ubi8 then; was required to start to download the inotify-tools rpm since it is no longer provided in rhel8. So, since it is not the ideal solution the best would attend the same need in a way that it is no longer required.

The inotify is used only here

Describe the solution you'd like
A possible solution can change the impl in the shell script to python to check if the file events.
