Describe the bug
Fonts are less readable in Chromium Legacy 119 compared to Google Chrome 116.

On the left side is Chromium Legacy 119, on the right side is Google Chrome 116.

I'm on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6

Oh, it seems like this could be a duplicate of #126

Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, this looks like a dupe of #126. I'd suggest this issue be closed in favor of that one.
