Can you use the Uuid
type in Wasm?

It appears based on #653 that the use uuid::Uuid;
#[cfg(target_arch = "wasm32")]
use wasm_bindgen::prelude::wasm_bindgen;
#[cfg_attr(target_arch = "wasm32", wasm_bindgen(getter_with_clone))]
struct Foo {
pub uuid: Uuid,
} #653 is old by now, and I do see that this crate has a Thanks! |

You can use the
js
feature to allow generatingUuid
s in runtimes with JavaScript support, but there isn't any way to useUuid
directly in wasm interfaces because there isn't a corresponding type on the JavaScript end for it to map to.
