What do these changes do?
Adds some changes that reduce support for RN < 0.71 running the new architecture - but includes an important fix for users on RN 0.73 running the latest architecture.
Also includes some (critical and high) priority npm updates.
Why are these changes necessary?
Improve support for RN 0.73 and remove security warnings related to the example app.

Ran ios and android examples.
