SFwtVbgmgn.mp4

🖥️ Requirements

  • 🦊 An up-to-date version of Firefox or LibreWolf. Other Firefox derivatives might work but I haven't tested them.
  • 🔤 JetBrains Mono installed on your system. (If it's not installed, it will default to the default monospace font for Firefox.)

⬇️ Installation

  1. ✅ Make sure you have everything listed in Requirements.
  2. ⚙️ Enable toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets in about:config.
  3. 📁 Go to about:support and copy the profile directory path.
  4. ⌨️ Clone this repository inside the profile directory you just copied:
cd the/path/you/just/copied
git clone https://github.com/siam404/My_custom_css.git chrome
  1. 📑 Hide the bookmarks toolbar by pressing Ctrl+Shift+B or right clicking and selecting "Never Show."

  2. 📎 Click this link to install the Firefox Color theme. (Optional)

  3. 🔄 Restart your browser for the theme to be applied.

🌐 Custom New Tab Setup

If you want your new tab to look the same as mine, follow these steps:

1.Install the "New Tab Override" extensionDownload here

  1. Set the custom URL in the extension:
    • Open the extension settings.
    • Paste this URL in the "Custom URL" section:
      https://custom-css-for-firefox.netlify.app/

  2. Set the same URL in Firefox Preferences:
    • Go to about:preferences#home in your address bar.
    • Under "Homepage and new windows," select "Custom URLs" and paste:
      https://custom-css-for-firefox.netlify.app/

💡 Want to Customize the Pinned Sites?

If you don't want to see all the pinned sites I am using, you can check my other repository for the Netlify web used for the new tab page: Custom Netlify Web for Firefox

You can customize it on your own and host it on Netlify. Then, simply use your own URL for the override extension. Enjoy your fully personalized Firefox experience! 🌟

This ensures that your new tab page matches my setup perfectly. 🚀

If you want the same colors as the screenshot, install Firefox Color, then click this link. This theme also works very well with the Adaptive Tab Bar Color extension.
