Hello Tim or Nathan or whoever is going to handle this,

This pull request brings in a major update to the Heatmap plugin.

Features added:

  • specify the no.of rows and columns of the resultant raster
  • specify the cell size of the raster
  • designate a attribute field as a weight for each heat point
  • designate a attribute field as the heat region buffer radius
  • specify the buffer distances in terms of real world quantities like meters or map units

Help required:

  • The dialog box presently shows the advanced options as disabled, which are enabled by checking the Advanced groupbox, I tried to hide them but it shows empty area, i was not able to achieve the automating resizing of the dialog when those are hidden. If you could notify someone and fix it, it would be great :)

Thank you.

I think it must be a version mismatch. People are using it in Mac.
For your reference, here is a thread that involved a bit of correction
in the UI for Mac.
