Just saw there is already a PR for v8.2.0: #20580 That version is still marked as pre-release, though.

Hello @chausner,

Right, v8.2.0 is marked as pre-release. But, OTOH, the bdwgc package in vcpkg was already moved to some master snapshot (REF 0c8905e84, not v8.0.4). Moving to v8.0.6 would be a downgrade. Moving from a snapshot to v8.2.0 is a step towards stabilization.

I hope a stable version (v8.2.2) will be release at the end of this year or so.

BTW, currently bdwgc in vcpkg is built w/o threads support. @chausner, if you have some time, it would be good if you could enable multi-threading support (this requires libatomic_ops package and removal of -Denable_threads=OFF).
