  • View tag suggestions and autocompletions when adding or updating bookmarks.
  • Browse Network, Popular, Wikipedia, Fandom, and Japanese feeds.

  • Browse tags along with the number of times they've each been used.
  • Add bookmarks by switching to Pushpin with a URL on your clipboard.

Wishlist

  • Migrate code from Objective-C to Swift.
  • Migrate to SF Symbols.
  • Fix some weird layout bugs that have been present for several years. 😅
  • Remove references to unused code.
  • Remove references to broken community feeds.

Requirements

  • iOS 15.6+
  • Swift 5+
  • Xcode 16.2+

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone git@github.com:lionheart/Pushpin.git
    cd Pushpin

  2. Install the Ruby version in .tool-versions. E.g., using asdf:

    asdf install

  3. Install subdmodules (expect the "pushpin-fonts" submodule to fail):

    make submodules

  4. Install dependencies:

    make deps

  5. Remove references to the licensed fonts in code. These are licensed only for bundling in the App Store build and are not available in this repo.

  6. Open Pushpin.xcworkspace, then compile and run the project. 🎉
