Do the Guidelines discuss updating your submission?

Is there any commentary about submitting updates to a already submitted entry?

• Is it allowed?
• Does the process change at all?

Yes it's allowed. I added the feature to help simplify updating the tarball too. The only thing is when you upload it you have to just select the correct slot.

If you want to simplify repackaging the tarball you can use the mkiocccentry options -a answers (or to overwrite file -A answers) and then to read in answers file -i answers. Obviously if you have to change some input then you'll have to re-input the info.

Does that help? Actually .. the FAQ .. I added how to update an entry somewhere. Maybe it's in one of the submit server html files though? I'm trying to catch up from the lack of no Internet for about 24 hours but I can come back to this if this is not enough, later.

Oh and I saw the title better. Do the guidelines discuss it? I believe I did indeed put it in there .. I know it's in the FAQ though. As I'll be working on the guidelines later (hopefully today but if not then hopefully this weekend) I can look at it and make sure of it.

We should make it clearer that folks are very WELCOME to update their submission. They just need to upload revised compressed tarball, rebuilt by mkiocccentry(1) so that it has a new date, before the contest enters into the judging state.
