Hi, I recently activated OpenDTU on Battery on an ESP32-S3 (Version 0.1.29-OnBattery-5) after I was already using an old version on an ESP32 (Version 0.1.28). In both cases I have a Victron Smart Shunt connected via VE.Direct. In the old version (Version 0.1.28) the data transfer worked correctly while on this new one it started to work but then after a few minutes it no longer received data, the bar on Live View went from green to red and going to look in the log via the console there were many errors [VE.Direct SmartShunt 17/-1] ERROR: debug buffer overrun! and also some errors [VE.Direct SmartShunt 17/-1] hexRx buffer overflow - aborting read Can you give me some indication on what could be the reason? The rx PIN on the ESP32-S3 is connected to GPIO17 |

First of all "0.1.29-OnBattery-5" is the configuration version and not the OpenDTU-OnBattery Version.
It seems you lost the connection. I would check the cable. Were was a similar fault some days before with bad GND connection. |

Hi and thanks for the support, I'll check both the version and the connection issue and let you know. |
