As per the issue,
select._wrapperState.initialValueis unused and never referenced anywhere else in the code.I did some investigation after removing
initialValuefrom the codebase by running the fixtures for react-dom and tried using Select with all the feature combinations and it seems like we can safely remove the keyinitialValuefrom the state of the select component.
