This is a reasonably big piece of work, and so will be split into a a few different cuts.

  • First cut will have been ported over to new mechanism for http transports
  • Second cut will do the same for binary - including a mechanism for sending arbitrary data to servers (c.f. identity tokens)
  • Third cut will deal with customising client sending
  • Fourth cut will deal with in-process calls

All code basically done. Need to review unit tests to ensure we have enough coverage
