There is interest to be able to run the TypeScript Compiler from a Java/Scala application. It is possible to run the TypeScript Compiler (tsc.js) on top of rowboat?

microsoft/TypeScript#1789

Sorry for the late reply.

I haven't done a ton of work on rowboat recently and neither has anyone
else that I know of. But it mainly depends on whether Nashorn (the JS
engine that rowboat uses) can run that particular code.

So I don't know particularly one way or another, and I suggest that you try
it!

(With that said, I'm reasonably sure that Trireme, which Rowboat is based
on, can run it.)
