Bot terminates with error messages when internet disconnects

I find that when running the bot locally, when the internet goes down, after 1-2 minutes these error messages appear in the log in the terminal:

and the bot then terminates. This also occurred on Ubuntu, with similar error messages.

Internet connection is MUST to connect with telegram servers. Otherwise different internal aspects of the program fails, and produces errors. Thats fine, and expected.

But how about the bot just continues running at least (even if it can't forward messages due to the internet disconnection) and waits until internet connection is restored instead of terminating completely, then when the internet connection is restored it starts forwarding the messages that were sent whilst the internet was down? This bot: https://github.com/viperadnan-git/telegram-message-forwarder-bot manages to acheive that. Is it an inherent issue with Telethon (the other bot uses Pyrogram)?

Using the argument connection_retries=None in TelegramClient (for tgcf, line 116 of live.py) could prevent the bot from terminating, so that after the internet connection is restored it can resume forwarding new messages sent thereafter, but the messages sent whilst the internet was down still don't get forwarded. Any ideas on how to deal with that?

You can set connection_retries=999 (or the number of retries you want) in the .env file.
