Patch Release
Patch Update
Fixed bugs:
- Powerup items did not get properly consumed on Spigot servers
- Players could respawn facing downwards
- Lobby sign did not keep version text
The Clean-up Update
Fixed bugs:
- Multiple powerup items could stack together and only spawn one powerup.
- Spectators could stay in adventure mode upon game start.
- "Most rounds survived" statistic wasn't always accurate.
- Round start sound did not play at the player's new location upon game start.
- Placing multiple tile powerups on one tile could affect tiles much further away.
- Players who smoke bombed were still visible to each other.
- Un-picked-up Falling Tile powerups could cause a scoreboard memory leak.
Feature changes:
- Exploding Tile now explodes upon impact in the center of the tile only. This makes it more usable for trapping enemies.
- You now get two Portal Tiles at once. This makes it more possible to use without waiting for a new one to spawn in.
- When you die, you're put in spectator above the previously selected tile.
- You now respawn facing the newly selected tile.
- Players now keep their inventory upon death (may become configurable in the future).
- More powerups spawn at once with more players and as the game goes longer.
- Powerups deliberately try not to spawn near players or other items unless absolutely necessary.
- The game ends when there are 5 or less tiles left and announces when it does so.
Miscellaneous:
- Improved entity selector performance.
