How to cite plugin?

We do not have a separate paper for this plugin, it is constantly under development.

Therefore there are two ways to do it, depending on a journal policy:

1. You can cite it by providing a direct link to the code, pointing out the version, like this:

"detection, colocalization, and quantification were performed using ComDet v.0.5.5 plugin for ImageJ (https://github.com/UU-cellbiology/ComDet)."

and specify the parameters range used.

2. Alternatively, you can use Zenodo DOI for the link to the specific release:

Katrukha E. 2020, ComDet plugin for ImageJ, v0.5.3, Zenodo, doi:10.5281/zenodo.4281064
