This Python based GUI open source software is capable in generating high quality image based Word to PDF file (not tested with text based doc files) suitable for Amazon KDP(Kindle Direct Publishing) conversion only.
Many Word to PDF Converter already exists online, even Microsoft Word has convert to PDF feature. But this software is specially made for Amazon KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) conversion where you have to ensure high PPI images in the PDF. MS Word sometimes struggles to maintain the image quality when converting to PDF. This software solves such problems. Please feel free to try this open source project and I'm sure you'll love it.
Download the repository as a zip file and extract it. Navigate to build/exe.win-amd64-3.12 folder and run the word2pdf.exe file.
- Select the Word file you want to convert.
- Click the "Convert to PDF" button.
- Wait for the conversion to complete.
- The converted PDF file will be saved in the same directory as the original Word file.
