Explain

  • Merging some changes from downstream to upstream and proposing a Pr is to enable timely improvement in case of problems and avoid too many serious issues when merging to upstream.

Change

SM8350

  • Add initial support for Redmi K40 Pro
    • Currently, UFSdxe is working, but there are still some things that need to be tested and improved.

SM8350

  • Add initial support for Redmi K60 Pro
    • We still need to test more things.

Problem

SM8350

  • Redmi K40 Pro:
    • Windows 11 27xxx+ is currently unable to be start on this device.
    • Automatic memory recognition is not supported.

* PILdxe loading will cause errors, so it is temporarily disabled until
  it is fixed.
* Under UEFI, USBFN & UFS should work very well.
* The support for Windows has not been tested yet.

I had issues as well with PIL on Duo 2 for example, my current approach has been to patch it out to force it to load anyway to satisfy some of the OS requirements and ignore the issues at the moment, but we may want to revisit this another day to be honest. (There seem to be further issues down the line on 8350 due to this, including in the OS)
