Changes from NCO for v16.0.4, v16.0.5, and v16.0.6:

  • FV3/ufs-weather-model tag update to GFS.v16.0.15 for running v16 (no impact to RUN_CCPP=YES checkout develop hash)
  • GLDAS tag update to gldas_gfsv16_release.v1.13.0
  • UPP tag update to upp_gfsv16_release.v1.1.3
  • EMC_gfs_wafs tag update to gfs_wafs.v6.0.18
  • series of ecflow job walltime refinements
  • add a few enkf post ecf scripts
  • gfs_bufr code updates
  • fix in ush/parse-storm-type.pl
  • wave scripts updates, including: add needed wave script ush/scale_dec.sh and add missing errchk to several wave job scripts

Tested branch issue240 on WCOSS-Dell and reproduced NCO parallel output.

This will close issue #240

Pull in nwpara/gfsv16.0.6 updates for parse-storm-type.pl

NCO reported "some JTWC tcvital missing in the gfs parallel run".
The parse-storm-type.pl script was updated by Qingfu Liu to resolve
issues and SPA Jen pulled it into the nwpara/gfsv16.0.6 install.

Pulling the script update into our release branch to match nwpara.

Update EMC_verif-global tag for Hera bug

Users reported issues plotting within EMC_verif-global on Hera.
EMC_verif-global code manager made hotfix and provided new tag to resolve issues.
No other HPCs impacted by this hotfix update.

EMC_verif-global tag updated in both Externals.cfg and sorc/checkout.sh.

Update Fit2Obs tag to newm.1.3 for bugfix

Jack Woollen reported a bug in the newm.1.2 tag related to insufficient
rstprod permission settings on produced files. Need fix on WCOSS/Hera.
New tag newm.1.3 resolves bug.
