IODA file naming convention
- General instructions
Use the following convention for naming the IODA observations.
YYYYMMDDHH/ioda.OBSERVATION.INSTRUMENT_LEVEL.SOURCE.DA_WINDOWh.nc
Where:
- YYYYMMDDHH : PDY
- OBSERVATION : Kind of observation
- INSTRUMENT : Instrument or satellite used for the retrieval
- LEVEL : The level of the product, for satellite observations
- SOURCE : Observation provider
- DA_WINDOW : The total length of the temporal window, centered at PDY
Important Note: In case that observations from several sensors are concatenated, use "cat" for the "INSTRUMENT". The same for multiple providers.
