Dealing with Unauthorised File Access
Sometimes when using Flagrum, you may encounter an issue where an operation fails and a popup is shown with the title "Unauthorised File Access Detected." There are several possible causes for this. They are outlined below with their potential solutions.
Sometimes this issue can be resolved by simply restarting your PC and trying again.
If you do not have the correct permissions to access the files Flagrum needs to modify, this issue could occur. Ensure you are signed into a user account on Windows that has permission to alter files in your FFXV directory. You can also try to run Flagrum as an administrator via right-click option.
If there are specific permissions set on your FFXV directory or any of the files or directories inside it, that may prevent Flagrum from operating as expected. The best course of action here would be to remove any special permissions that may cause the problem.
