[BUG] createDeltaPkg fails when to execute when there are too many changes to process #2011

Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Current Behavior

In my test nodejs's garbage collector gave up when tasked with processing 500 changed files. Memory and CPU usage skyrocketed and then nothing

Expected Behavior

reading files needs to be throttled so that computers can handle it

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Go to '...'
  2. Click on '....'
  3. Run '...'
  4. See error...
