[app] Send errors not handled by explicit error boundaries through reportError #76101

This changed in Next.js due to React 19.

Since all errors are treated as caught by React, they don't go through onCaughtError and therefore reportError. Now we treat errors that are only handled by built-in error boundaries as uncaught.

Pages router will follow once we land #73621 since support for Pages Router will also improve the error overlay for which we don't have good coverage.

Closes https://linear.app/vercel/issue/NDX-772/

There's little point in doing that since the browser logs are not sourcemapped.

Handling them in cDC would attach the owner stack of the error boundary.
That's not helpful for a specific error though.
We need to make sure these error handlers are only called from React error handlers.

This logic seem easy to break, can we check if the react error lifecyle methods are present then we treat it as an implicit error boundary? constructor.getDerivedStateFromError || errorBoundary.componentDidCatch

That would also match explicit error boundaries.

When would this break?

It would actually always be true. errorInfo.errorBoundary will always be an error boundary so either cDC or gDSFE must be defined.

This is intentional as far as I can tell:

. Otherwise your screen wouldn't update if you make an edit after an error boundary caught an error. I can repro this on a fresh dev server.
