@Kuina-chan describe what is simulatepp

simulatedPP is a token in Stream Companion.
It's a value increase over time as the song goes on, with the accuracy locked at 100% and with mods applied (if there's any)

I don't understand usage of such value, any usecase?

One potential usecase I can see is just simply comparison.

I will take BTMC's overlay as an example

Currently the value displaying are {current pp value} / {pp value if current accuracy is held to the end of the map}(1). In my opinion this make no sense to compare, especially if the map is FC'd. Also, as the map progress, accuracy can drop or raise, which make this value alter too. This can lead to confusion, especially with new players.

SimulatedPP on the other hand, act like a goal in every moment of the map, not just the ending. When using on an overlay, there's a sense of progress, a viewer can pause and understand what's going on with the value, and at the end you can also see how much did you get with your performance compare to the map itself. Sure, with the value (1) I mentioned above, it's still possible to compare, but if you FC, the {current pp value} suddenly equal to (1), and it's not fully representative of your performance on the map, especially if you only FC it (not SS'ing).
