From Monday to Thursday I used the one week free trial of Codeacademy Pro to do training in python and software design. I completed the "Advanced Python 3" module as well as the parts of "Intermediate Python 3" that I found we're useful. I also completed "Software Design Principles". These include interactive coding examples, videos, articles, quizzes, and final projects. 

Once I completed these, I spent some time reading up (and watching youtube videos) on maintaining legacy codebases, inheritance, refactoring, and python code reviews. The primary channel of these videos was Arjoncodes.
