solc error: TypeError: solc.compileStandardWrapper is not a function

solc error: TypeError: solc.compileStandardWrapper is not a function

I am getting this error when I try to edit settings.json to modify compiler version. Anyone knows how to solve this issue?

[SOLVED] Seems it was a problem with the "-fixed" compiler version download using

yarn add solc

I removed install

yarn remove solc

then ran

yarn add solc@0.8.13

error is gone for now but I did delete all folders and files related to the lesson and started back from scratch.

Will be monitoring as I progress through the lesson once again
