At the moment, there is no display-specific functionality that would give you this specifically, but you can achieve something similar with Custom Size & Positions, except that you would be specifying an absolute width. For my setup, this is half of my 27-inch display, and roughly 2/3 of my laptop. Ideally, Rectangle Pro would have more tailored display specific configuration, and I do have plans for this in the future. |

Prior to discovering Rectangle Pro, I programmed my own keyboard shortcuts to resize and reposition windows using Keyboard Maestro. I love using Rectangle Pro, as it simplifies things a lot and provides me with lots of additional functionality. However, I have recently run into an issue I could have resolved with Keyboard Maestro but seems not possible with Rectangle Pro.
I use my laptop in two situations. One is closed and connected to an external display. Another is open and not connected to an external display. When I'm using my 27-inch screen, snapping windows to the left and right half of the screen makes sense for browser windows. When I'm using my 15-inch built-in screen, I would want the same keyboard shortcut to snap to the left and right EDGE of the screen but their size to be wide enough for general browser using (I'm thinking 2/3rd of the screen width).
I do not believe this can be done in Rectangle Pro right now, correct?
