I am trying to use keyd to modify the behaviour of the secondary button of my Surface pen stylus without success. Even before including any changes in said button (which I checked are applied for instance with the commented line), the stylus functionality breaks when keyd loads the configuration file and acts as a regular mouse.

The test config I am using is the following:

[ids]

04f3:2a1c:b4580be2

[main]

#kp4 = C-q

Any suggestions? I suspect keyd does not support such devices, is there any other tool that can map this buttons?

Thanks in advance,

I second that.
My touchscreen (dynabook laptop, Arch+KDE) completely stopped working when KEYD was installed.
Only after removing KEYD (+restart!) the touchscreen resumed working.
(I had keyd running for 4 months, and upgraded the whole system every month.)
