fix escape sequences #89

In recent Python versions, a warning like

DeprecationWarning: invalid escape sequence \w
    RESOURCE_NAME_LEGAL_CHARS_P = re.compile('^[A-Za-z][\w_\/]*$')

is shown. Either we double the backslashes in the string, or we use a raw string so that Python doesn't interpret them as escape sequences (which is what I have done in this PR).
