Something using this breaks and colors, as in the IoW example.

breaks = c(0, 0.03, 0.05, 0.08, 0.10, 0.20, Inf)
pal = c("#267300", "#70A800", "#FFAA00", "#E60000", "#A80000", "#730000") #color palette from dark green to dark red
