iFan3 on Homey #39
Comments
The generic Tasmota driver may work, or otherwise the Sonoff Basic driver, but only if the device works with "on/off" commands. If it has more capabilities, like variable speed, those will most likely not be supported. As for the boot mode, it basically means that you need to power-cycle the device while the app is looking for the device. |
It has a light toggle ON/OFF and 4 buttons for FANspeed (0,1,2,3) |
I don't think either will work with that sort of button-arrangement anyway :( |
Is that something you are willing to add? It is a frequently used fancontroller worldwide.. |
I stopped development for this app because I stopped using Homey, so unless someone else is willing to take up development, support for this device won't be added I'm afraid. |
Thanks for all the hard work...
The Sonoff iFan3 Tasmota is not available. Can I use 'Generic' Tasmota?
And the (soft) boot mode option, how can I trigger that. Unable to access; understood there is an issue with the 'HOLD' mode.
Alvast bedankt,
Onno
