After flashing the latest debug firmware the fans turn on briefly, turn off for a while and then turn back on. I don't get a USB serial port. Looking in dmesg, I get

Try release. Debug might be so slow that the watchdog catches during the initial longer initialization.

building master in release mode seems to fix this. #94 ?
