Unreliable recording when endpoint not reachable for long time

At my university I'm connected to the WLAN but the connection to my server is blocked. So no connect to my endpoint. But even if i left, the recording is very unreliable. I get very few locations sent to DaWarIch, it takes about 1 hour until recording works fine with 30-second-cycle.

Any idea about this ? Maybe because the app tries so many times to connect and because it doesn't work, it just give up and just try every hour again ? I don't see that my location changes in the notification either, only very rarely and then only reliably again after 1-2 hours.

Maybe this can be fixed by the developers.
