Support slugs with custom domains

Background

We have multiple software products that all conform to a common pattern via the use of a shared framework. I.e. they have broadly the exact same functionality, but operate on different inputs.

Our gitbook page is structured as a common home page, explaining the shared framework, with subpages for each software product. The documentation of each product lives in the same git repo as the product source code.

This means we have to have a 'site' for each product, all with different slugs. There are then links from the homepage to the different slugs, for the specific documentations of each product.

Our 'sites' look similar to:

• company.gitbook.io/home-page
  • link A -> /product-a
  • link B -> /product-b
• company.gitbook.io/product-a
  • Content from git/product-a
• company.gitbook.io/product-b
  • Content from git/product-b

Ask

We would like to use the custom domain feature. I.e. we would like to have:

• gitbook.company.com/home-page
  • link A -> /product-a
  • link B -> /product-b
• gitbook.company.com/product-a
  • Content from git/product-a
• gitbook.company.com/product-b
  • Content from git/product-b

Which means ability to apply same domain to different sites, as long as they have different slugs.

Alternative

I am not an expert in Gitbook. Is there an alternative that we can employ instead to achieve the same outcome?
