  • VSCode Version: 1.37
  • OS Version: macos

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Write text and search for a word

it seems that the decoration is not as big as the line when not rendering characters, which makes it hard to see. Would it be possible to make it as big as the line when not rendering characters ?

Nothing to do with this issue, but there is a long standing issue (#21404) to have exactly this feature when selecting words, I guess it would be easy to add now.
