VScode Terminal typing lag MBP 16 #115674

VSCode Version: 1.52.1
OS Version: Big Sur 11.2

Steps to Reproduce:

Simple type in the terminal build into VScode
When typing into the VScode zsh or bash terminals, there is a distinct lag that happens every 8 or so seconds where visually the terminal doesnt register what I am typing for a full second and after this lapse, everything that I had typed but was not appearing, then suddenly appears.

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes
