Build tcl scripts which make a model transformation for easier force extraction #46

I was thinking about a tcl code which would make it far easier to extract the mpc forces (and with that making the tool obsolete).
Whet I have the connected groups I could split each mpc into multiple mpcs and combine (not merge) the master nodes with another mpc.

If that is easily done, the run could have easy force extraction in hyperview as the master nodes of every splitted mpc now only contains the slave nodes of one part.
Things unclear right now:

  • what about moments? Do I have to move the master node to the center of each new slave node to avoid the moments being inaccurate?!

This is not yet clear to me yet but I think it could be very useful if we could bulid a tcl code which transforrms a fem model into such a model that I could easy force extract after the run with Hyperview
