Add package.json / publish to npm

it can be easily installed and used in webpack.

Good idea!
Unfortunately, it's unlikely that I'll have time to do it in the foreseeable future, especially considering this code is 5+ years old and in need of modularization/modernisation. If by any chance you'd like to give it a try you can take it as a whole and publish as yours, I won't mind :)
