cargo-add should be able to support workspace inheritance, similar to #814 for set-version.

Ah, it looks like cargo add crate-name now uses core cargo, and it WFM.

Also, if it is pulling from the workspace, then you are running cargo-add from cargo itself. There are more issues in the cargo repo exploring more workspace inheritance support. Feel free to look those up and add any thoughts on how it should work.
