No image on slide

I would need to use this nice plugin for displaying only captions (some of which contains images).
This would allow for example presenting features of an application.
iView seems to expect a data-iview:image for each slide otherwise it is issuing undefined js errors.
Shouldn't it be acceptable to not require it ?
