The performance of the existing implementations, especially when only a few files are included, is atrocious. Should probably double check the existing action implementations, or keep an eye on the dotnet/format repo.

Linked to this is also the fact that the current dotnet-format action only works for windows, but the "push commit to PR" action we use requires ubuntu. Edging closer to writing some custom action for this.

Looking into ReSharper tools as a potential alternative. InspectCode / CleanupCode. 🔍
