The Humorously Acronymed Tokens are a very interesting feature. And I think going out and collecting hats, to then be able to sell them for these tokens could make a really interesting, and fun, form of server economy.

A few ideas I had that would be really cool on servers:

  • A sort of gacha, or hat dispenser system: Someone can stock up a hat dispenser with many hats of different varieties and set a price to use it. And then another player can come and pay that amount of tokens to get a random hat from that dispenser.
  • A way to let players use the tokens to buy or sell any sort of item or service, potentially automatically too.
  • A hat trader villager: either as a profession or perhaps as a variant of the wandering trader. Who trades hats in exchange for certain amounts of tokens. And will also buy certain hats from you for an increased profit.
  • Being able to sell your hats in the hat menu, and seeing how many tokens you have in that same menu.
  • A button to sell all duplicate hats, leaving just one of every type.
  • Being able to extract the Tokens from your menu in the form of an item. To give to your friends or to generously throw around, like a true philanthropist.
(But it'd be better for most transactions to be done without the necessary use of the token item, as it would be more convenient and you wouldn't have to lose a ton of them if you died, say, by getting killed during a shady deal.)

A couple of these things are planned, but those ideas are only just in the air for the moment. I'll leave this issue open for me to refer to when I get to it. Thanks!
