Integration with GitWrapper

Great project!

Just an FYI, I saw that you are executing a lot of Git commands in the codebase. I wanted to put https://github.com/cpliakas/git-wrapper on your radar as it might help to improve reliability and ease development of the application.

More specifically, it can help with logging and exception / error handling as I noticed there were some TODOs around the latter. It could also help facilitate testing since you can bypass execution of the commands if you want to test function in isolation of actually running them.

Anyways, wanted to put it on your radar in case it might be helpful to you.
