I have a Samsung M52, and on it, whenever I see the digital clock on the top-left corner of my screen, I notice that the colon is vertically aligned with the digits. Some fonts, like Inter, have this feature shown below:
Notice the colon in the middle between the digits five and six above.
This doesn't happen with Roboto:
Here, the colon just sits on the same line height with the other digits.
Roboto is the default font used with Samsung phones in UI 5.1, but it only does this in Samsung phones, becuase Samsung adds references into its UI that supports this change.
Also, to mention, Apple's font, San Francisco, which is similar to Inter (mentioned above) also has this feature:
This will be better if this feature was added.
