By design, the TestInfra config test suite runs slightly different checks for Trusty and Xenial. Care should be taken to preserve functionality of the config tests against both releases. Please note omissions or test failures in this ticket; we can then scope new issues as appropriate.

Specifically, config tests should pass for the following scenarios:

  • Clean Trusty install (done)
  • Clean Xenial install (likely done)
  • Trusty -> Xenial upgrade (not done)
