Hi so as per the docs the ignore file is not working, I don't want to include node_modules obviously so any fix for this? I have the latest version of readmeai installed on Windows.

Hey @ssobii2,

Thanks for flagging this issue with the ignore file functionality. I've been meaning to properly implement this feature, and I appreciate you bringing it to my attention.

Good news is that I've got it working locally on my development environment. The fix will be included in the next release, which should be published within the next week or so as part of a larger update.

Temporary Solution

In the interim, you can implement the following workaround:

  1. Clone the readme-ai repository locally:

    git clone https://github.com/eli64s/readme-ai

  2. Navigate to the configuration directory at readmeai/config/settings/

  3. Open the ignore-list.toml configuration file

  4. Add node_modules to the list under the directories key

  5. Run readmeai from your local clone of the repository

Appreciate your patience and trying out the tool. Let me know if you have any other questions or issues.

Cheers.
