half star appears in black color on safari. How to get rid of this?

I am using this package to display ratings given by users. It works with all browsers except Safari.
On other browsers it works fine, you can check this screenshot: https://nimb.ws/DbW3B8
But on Safari browser, the half star comes in black colour.

Please suggest how to get rid of this?
