Support lifecycle page needs an update #3121

Cheena has a PR open for the changes. We found an issue with the 6.0.0 release right after it was published (transitive copying of the SNI DLLs was broken) so there is a scramble to fix it and publish 6.0.1 ASAP. The docs will get updated after 6.0.1 goes out. I just unlisted 6.0.0. |
eta on a 6.0.1? |
6.0.1 dropped so interested to know if it's LTS or not :) |
@SimonCropp @stevendarby Docs published now, does not look like 6.0 is LTS - or maybe I am reading it wrong? |
@ErikEJ Yep, looks like current to me. A bit of a surprise as it's been a couple of years since the last LTS, but looks like the release cadence doesn't follow any strict pattern: "Stakeholders and maintainers choose Long Term Support (LTS) releases based on a few qualifications and customer response." |
Note: We don't always declare a release as LTS right at the time of release. It may be upgraded from current to LTS later. We are conservative in declaring a release LTS since (1) they come with a long-term maintenance cost and (2) we don't ever want to downgrade an LTS release to current. |

Happy to help, but unsure about the LTS status of 6.0 and EOL for 5.2
