Calendar Locations truncating entries 18 characters or longer

While assisting a customer with calendar events missing the full location name, we realized this was due to the method we had to use to handle entries and make them fit in the various different calendar day blocks. The current system truncates any entry that is 18 characters or longer to save space. This case has been created to review if this is still necessary and to look for alternative methods to display this information.

I'm that customer having that issue. For more context, We've loved using Dakboard for all of our front Digital Signage, but we switched to Google Rooms in our GSuite recently which formats the rooms like this Location-Floor#-Room (Occupency). This is what is currently breaking the 18 character limit. Is there a possible way of extending this limit or letting customers have a slider on MAX character limit instead of just removing the location name?
